Goodbye... for now!

The Kutano Team has had an awesome time developing the Kutano Twitter client as well as communicating with our users and collecting some very valuable feedback. As a result of much of this feedback, we have decided to pursue an exciting new direction :-).

As is the case with all start-ups, though, our resources are limited and so in order to offer the new service we would like to, we will need to free some resources by decommissioning the existing Kutano client on March 26th.

That said, we would like to extend an invitation to all our users and anyone else interested to join our “Alpha test group” and be one of the first invited to try our new product. If you are interested in joining please click here.

For those of you who still want to use a Twitter client for your browser, here is a list of some other available ones to check out:

Chromed Bird – “A Twitter extension that allows you to follow your timelines and interact with your Twitter account”
Chrowety –“A twitter client for Google Chrome”
Echofon– “Echofon (formerly TwitterFox) notifies you of your friends' tweets on Twitter. Syncs with iPhone.”

We’ll keep all of you posted on this blog and through our Twitter account so please keep in touch with us as we announce new developments and future product releases. We’d also love to hear from you if you have any questions. To get in contact with us just email us at feedback@kutano.com.

Cheers and until sometime very soon :),
The Kutano Team

Really? In response to what feedback?! Kutano is far-and-away the best twitter client I've used. Good bye Kutano. :(

I hope the code will be released as open source or something so that others can take over.

Good bye Folks ... waiting for similar good products from Kutano

Agreed. I've used a number of Twitter desktop apps and browser add-ons but Kutano is in my top 3 in terms of usefulness and ease-of-use. I only wish I'd discovered Kutano earlier. Do you really need to kill off the client whist you carry on development work?

We appreciate all your feedback and are happy you enjoyed using Kutano. We're sorry to take it down, but as mentioned, we need to free up resources for our newest project. Please feel free to join our Alpha group and we will keep you posted on developments :).

Florian- I was not entirely clear about what you wanted an email or DM about?

Thanks,
Natalie (on behalf of the Kutano Team)
