The moment we've all been waiting for!

Kutano, the first reliable web annotation utility, is finally out of experimental mode on Firefox!

After weeks of anticipation and speculation, Mozilla-AMO Community Lead Rey Bango has confirmed that the Kutano add-on is out of experimental mode.

The timing is great since it coincides with Mozilla’s Firefox 3.5 launch which should take place this week. As big (and now even bigger ;) supporters of Firefox, we ask you all to help spread the word of Firefox 3.5. If you would also like to spread the word about Kutano, that would be cool too :P.

There are a ton of ways to get involved with the Firefox Global team depending on the amount of time you can contribute and your interests. Check out the list of areas Firefox needs help with here. If you want to join the Firefox team, please take a second to fill out this survey. If you have any time left over, or are just that awesome, we would also really appreciate your posting any comments or reviews you might have about Kutano on the Firefox Add-on page.

We’re proud to announce that Kutano has more than 750,000 comments in its system and the numbers are climbing as I’m writing this post. I’d like to also use this opportunity to thank you, our users, for helping us build a more connected and unbiased web. Without you we wouldn’t be able to get to where we are today.
